What travels with you

Effective July 30, 2026

Thamyris is local-first. Your game remains playable without a network connection, and progress is saved on your device. When a connection is available, a small amount of device-scoped progress is synchronized to operate and evaluate the pre-release service. Synchronization does not replace the local save or restore an installation after the app is deleted.

Information Thamyris processes

The current game sends only what is needed for progress sync:

A random installation identifier. The game creates a version 4 UUID on the device. It is not an advertising identifier and does not contain your name, email address, or hardware serial number.
Scene completions. The service stores which scenes that installation completed and when the service received each completion. If you played offline, this time can be later than the moment you played.
Operational request data. Our hosting provider processes information such as IP address, request time, and basic request metadata to deliver the service, diagnose failures, and protect it from abuse.

The game also keeps local progress, sound preference, its installation identifier, and any progress waiting to sync in the app’s storage on your device.

What Thamyris does not currently collect

Thamyris has no user accounts and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or payment information through the game. It contains no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDK, or social login. We do not sell personal information.

Why we use this information

We use synchronized progress to provide the progress service, recover from transient connection failures, understand whether pre-release builds function as intended, secure the service, and repair defects. We do not use it to advertise to you or build a profile of your interests.

Service providers and retention

No Evil Star, LLC operates Thamyris. Railway hosts the application and database on our behalf. Those providers process data under their own security and operational terms only to provide the services we use.

Device-scoped progress is retained while the service is operating or until it is deleted. Encrypted backups are retained for recovery on a limited rotation. Operational logs are retained according to the hosting service’s configured retention. We may keep information longer when reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, or resolving abuse.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can play offline; synchronization never blocks play. Deleting the app removes its local data according to your platform’s behavior. To request deletion of synchronized progress, contact thamyris@noevilstar.studio. We may ask for information available only from your installation so we can locate the correct device-scoped record without exposing another player’s data.

Children

Thamyris is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Changes and contact

Material changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Questions, privacy requests, and deletion requests can be sent to thamyris@noevilstar.studio.
